Uploading and Watching Prospect Video

Record or upload prospect video in the ONIT app, tag it, and watch your staff's video.

Written by Tyler Baker

Video is one of the best ways to share what you saw with the rest of your staff. In the new ONIT app, you can record or upload video right from a prospect's page, tag it, and add your notes in a few taps. If your organization pulls ONIT data into its own system, videos you upload can come along too.

Uploading a Video

  1. Open the prospect's page.

  2. Tap the ⋯ menu in the upper-right, then tap Upload Video.

  3. Tap Choose from Library to pick a video you've already shot, or Record Video to record a new one.

  4. Add details:

    • Tags — Pitching, Hitting, Defense, Batting Practice, or Bullpen.

    • Angle — Side Angle, Home Plate, or Centerfield.

    • Title — fills in automatically with the prospect's name and the date. Change it if you'd like.

    • Comment — any notes about what you saw.

    • Date taken — when the video was shot.

  5. Upload the video.

Watching Video

  1. Open the prospect's page and tap the Videos tab.

  2. Tap a video to play it full screen.

  3. Swipe up or down to move between the prospect's videos.

Each video shows who uploaded it, how many comments it has, and its tags. If you uploaded a video, you can remove it with Delete video.

Using ONIT Video in Your Own System

If your organization sends prospects to ONIT through our API, videos uploaded in ONIT can be pulled back into your internal system, so your staff can watch them wherever they work. Reach out to us if you'd like to set this up.
