Notifications keep you in the loop on the things that change your plans: a game that moves, a teammate adding a game to your itinerary, a pitcher's status changing, or rain in the forecast. In the new ONIT app, all of your alerts and the settings that control them live in one place, and you can fine-tune when each one fires.
Viewing Your Notifications
Open the menu and tap Notifications.
The Notifications tab shows every alert you've received, newest first.
Tap any notification to see the details.
Customizing Your Alerts
Tap the Settings tab on the Notifications page. Each alert has its own on/off switch, and many let you adjust exactly when they fire by tapping the blue number in the description. For example, you can choose to only hear about a status change for prospects graded 40 and above, within 30 days of a game on your itinerary.
Alert Types
Itinerary Addition Alert — someone else adds a game or event to your itinerary within a set number of days.
Game/Event Change Alert — the date, time, or location of a game or event on your itinerary changes within a set number of days of the start time.
Game/Event Comment Alert — someone comments on a game or event on your itinerary.
Status Changed Alert — a prospect at or above a grade you choose has a status change within a set number of days of a game on your itinerary.
Weather Alert — a game on your itinerary is forecast to have bad weather.
Scroll the Settings tab to see every alert available to you.
Turning Push Notifications On or Off
To pause all push notifications at once, open the menu, tap Settings, and use the Push notifications switch under Preferences.
If you aren't getting notifications at all, make sure they're allowed for ONIT in your phone's settings:
iPhone — open Settings, tap Notifications, tap ONIT 2.0, and turn on Allow Notifications.
Android — open Settings, tap Notifications (or Apps), find ONIT 2.0, and turn notifications on.
Need a Hand?
If your notifications aren't coming through, open the menu, tap Settings, and tap Email support, and we'll get you sorted out.
