The Games page is where you'll do most of your planning in ONIT. It's where you find the games worth your time, see where they are, and get them onto your itinerary. In the new ONIT app, Around Me is built right into the Games page, so everything you need to find a game lives in one place. This article walks through the views, AI Search, and location filtering so you can get to the right games faster.
Getting to Games
Open the new ONIT app. If you haven't downloaded it yet, get it at onit.app.
Tap the menu icon in the upper-left.
Tap Games.
The games you see are based on your current mode (AMAT, PRO, or INT), which is shown next to the menu icon. To switch modes, open the menu and pick one under Mode.
List View and Map View
Use the toggle in the upper-right to switch between two ways of looking at the schedule:
List View — every game in your date range, one card at a time. Each card shows the date and time, location, both teams, and the prospects on each roster with their grades.
Map View — every game rolled up into numbered bubbles by area. Tap a bubble and the map zooms in until you reach an individual game, then tap the game to see its details.
The results count in the upper-right always tells you how many games match what you're looking at.
Picking a Day
The date range at the top defaults to the next week. Just below it, you'll see a row of day chips, such as All dates, Sat 10, and Sun 11, each showing how many games are on that day. Tap a day to narrow the list or map to just that day's games.
Ask ONIT with AI Search
This is the fastest way to find games. Instead of clicking through filters, just tell ONIT what you're looking for.
Tap AI Search and type your request, or tap the orange microphone in the lower-right and say it out loud.
ONIT turns your request into filters and shows them on the Apply Filters? screen.
Review the filters. Tap the × next to any you don't want, or tap Edit to adjust them.
Tap Apply.
For example, if it's Saturday and you can't get anywhere before 1:00, say "Show me all the games today for Big 12 teams that start after 12 o'clock." ONIT sets the date, the conference, and the start time for you. Your active filters then show as chips across the top of the page, and you can remove any of them with a tap.
Finding Games Near You (Formerly Around Me)
Around Me no longer has its own page. To find games near you or near any place you're headed:
Tap Filters at the bottom of the screen.
Under Location, tap Use my current location, or search for any city or state.
Set how many miles out you want to look.
Tap Apply filters.
Because location is now just another filter, you can combine it with everything else, such as tracked prospects, start times, or a specific conference, in a single search. You can also save any combination you use often with Save New under Saved Filters.
Creating a Game or Event
Can't find a game? Tap the orange + in the lower-right, then choose Create Game or Create Event.
Need a Hand?
If you run into any issues finding games or using AI Search, open the menu, tap Settings, and tap Email support, and we'll get you sorted out.
