Game Filters

Every filter on the Amateur Games page, including location, start times, prospect priority, and saved filters.

Written by Tyler Baker

Filters let you narrow the Games page down to exactly the games worth your time. In the new ONIT app, every filter, including location, lives in one panel, so you can combine them however you like and save the combinations you use most. If you'd rather not click through filters at all, try AI Search and just tell ONIT what you want.

Opening Filters

On the Games page, tap Filters at the bottom of the screen. The badge at the top of the panel shows how many filters are active. When you're done, tap Apply filters, or tap Clear to start over.

Games with Prospects vs. All Games

The toggle at the top of the panel decides which games you see:

  • Games with prospects — only games that include at least one of your organization's prospects.

  • All games — every game, whether or not a prospect is playing.

Saved Filters

Set up the filters you want, then tap Save New to save them. Next time, pick it from Select a saved filter to apply everything at once.

Location (Formerly Around Me)

Tap Use my current location, or search for any city or state, then set how many miles out you want to look. Combine it with any other filter to find, for example, every game with a tracked prospect within 50 miles of where you'll be.

When

  • Type — show Games, Events, or both.

  • Start date and End date — the range of days to search.

  • Start time after and Start time before — only games that start within a time window, so you can find the ones you can actually get to.

  • Days of Week — only certain days, such as weekends.

Prospects

  • Grade, Draft Year, and Position — games with prospects who match.

  • Region & Scout — games with prospects owned by a specific scout or region.

  • Prospect Priority — games with prospects tracked as High, Medium, or Low priority. Coordinators can assign these on a scout's behalf from the prospect coverage page in the web app.

Scouts

  • Scouts Attending — games that specific scouts are already going to. This is a quick way to avoid doubling up on coverage, or to find a game where you can meet up with a teammate.

Teams

  • D1 Conference, Level, Teams, and State — games involving the teams, conferences, levels, or states you choose.

Switches

  • Active prospects only — only games where a prospect has an active status, such as starting or pitching.

  • Tracked prospects only — only games that include a prospect you're tracking.

  • Matchups — the filters must be true for both teams, not just one. Use this to find games where both sides have something worth seeing.

  • Neutral site — only games played somewhere other than either team's home park.

  • Double Headers — only double headers.
