Agents and Events in International Mode

Plan around agents and events, log the prospects you saw, and get credit for your looks in International mode.

Written by Tyler Baker

International mode is built for the way international scouting actually works. Much of the amateur talent in Latin America doesn't play for teams. Players train with an agent, often called a buscón, at an academy or ballpark, and you see them at showcases, workouts, and scrimmages. ONIT organizes your prospects around those agents and events, so you can plan a trip, show up, and log who you saw in a few taps.

Switching to International Mode

Tap the menu icon in the upper-left, then choose International under Mode at the bottom. You'll see INT next to the menu icon, and Agents appears in the menu. International mode is available based on your organization's permissions.

How International Data Is Organized

  • Prospects — your organization's international prospects. For amateur prospects, their team is their country.

  • Agents — the trainers and buscones your prospects work with, along with their academy, address, and contact information.

  • Teams — international pro clubs in leagues like the Mexican League, NPB, and KBO.

  • Events — showcases, workouts, scrimmages, and tournaments.

Agents

Open the menu and tap Agents, then tap any agent to see their page:

  • Details — their academy and location on a map. Tap Open Maps for directions. You'll also find their email and phone number.

  • Prospects — every prospect connected to this agent.

  • Events — every event this agent has been part of.

Creating an Event for an Agent

  1. Open the agent's page.

  2. Tap the ⋯ menu in the upper-right, then New Event.

  3. Fill in the title, location, and date. The agent is added to the event automatically, along with all of their prospects.

  4. Tap Save event.

Logging Who You Saw

When you're at the event, open it and tap the Agents tab. Tap the arrow next to the agent to see all of their prospects, then tap + next to each one you saw. They'll move to the event's Prospects tab under Prospects attending.

You can also add prospects directly on the Prospects tab of the event.

Getting Credit for Your Looks

On the event's Details tab, tap Confirmed. ONIT counts a look for each prospect listed under Prospects attending once the event is confirmed on your itinerary. That's why it matters to tap + only on the prospects you actually saw.

Signed Prospects

When a prospect signs, their page shows a Signed section with the signing organization, signing amount, and signing date. Tap Edit to update it.
