Getting Started with Run Builder

1. Accessing Run Builder

  • Navigate to the Itinerary page in ONIT.

  • Select Run Builder at the bottom of the page.

2. Selecting a Scout

  • Choose the scout for whom you are building the run. This can be yourself or another scout on your team.

3. Setting the Date Range

4. Choosing Anchor Prospects

  • Select up to three key prospects that you want to build the run around. We recommend starting with one at first.

6. Adjusting the Run Logic (Optional)

  • You can tweak the run logic based on your preferences or keep the default settings.

7. Generating and Refining the Run

  • ONIT will generate a recommended set of games around the anchor games.

  • Anchor games are highlighted in yellow.

  • Recommended games are highlighted in blue.

  • Review the recommended games and remove any that you don’t want to include.

8. Finalizing the Run

  • Once satisfied with the selections, click “Add This Run To Itinerary”.

  • All selected anchor and recommended games will be added to your itinerary.

How ONIT’s AI Optimizes Your Scouting Run

ONIT’s Run Builder uses a smart algorithm to construct the most efficient scouting itinerary by:

  • Geographic Filtering: Limits games within a customizable travel radius (default: 200 miles).

  • Date Filtering: Ensures games fall within the selected scouting window (up to 2 weeks).

  • Game Prioritization: Ranks games based on factors including but not limited to:

    • Tracked status

    • Prospect priority levels

    • Player grades (maximum and average)

    • Player game statuses

    • Total number of prospects in each game

    • Past scouting history (whether a prospect has already been seen this season)

    • Other scouts attending the game

    • Proximity of games (closer games are prioritized)

  • Final Selection: The system selects the best adjacent games that fit within the travel radius and timeframe for final user review.

With ONIT’s Run Builder, scouts can now optimize their itineraries effortlessly, ensuring they cover the most valuable games with maximum efficiency.
